General FAQs

How can I book an appointment?

At Back in Motion Health, appointments may be booked via phone, online or in-person. Visit our contact page to call the most convenient location for you. You may also call our main toll free number 1-866-205-9000 and choose the most convenient location from the directory.

What can I expect during a therapy visit?

Back in Motion Health is a medically based therapy and treatment facility. It is the responsibility of the therapist or doctor to ensure a Client has a proper assessment during their appointment, before any treatment can be delivered.  Assessment is a vital part of every visit, used to evaluate progress and to direct the therapist in effective treatment.  A Client can expect the initial appointment to have a slightly longer assessment than subsequent visits, in order to establish a baseline. To learn more about specific services or treatments, and what to expect with your visit, please visit the services page for each service.

How do I know which service I should book for my own circumstance?

Is it safe to come for an in-person appointment during Covid-19 Pandemic?

We have made changes to the facilities, operational and administrative processes. WorkSafeBC Claims

Workplace injuries are usually due to trauma or overuse. If you have been injured as a result of a workplace activity, our team of experts at Back in Motion can perform a comprehensive assessment and develop a treatment plan to reduce your symptoms and rehabilitate your injury.

If your claim is approved by WSBC, your initial assessment is 100% covered with a WorkSafeBC Claim number. Once your claim has been accepted by WorkSafeBC, the full treatment cost of your appointments will be funded (within the approved time parameters). When you are ready, your physiotherapist will work with you, your employer, physician, and WorkSafeBC Case Manager to develop a safe and appropriate return to work plan. If your claim has been denied or is disallowed, the expenses will need to be covered by the Client.
