Jeffrey Lin | Physiotherapist


Meet Jeffrey

Jeff has a Bachelor’s of Human Kinetics specializing in kinesiology and health sciences from the University of British Columbia in Vancouver, and a Masters of Physiotherapy at the University of Sydney. He is certified in the Musculoskeletal Segmental & Dry needling technique (IMS needling), Level 1- Treatment of Pelvis & Lumbar spine, and hip differential diagnosis & prescription, and Concussion Management. He is also proficient in manual therapy techniques and individualized exercise prescription.

Jeff believes in active rehabilitation. He uses up-to-date evidence-based treatment methods to help his clients in their recovery, and often see patients with temporo-mandibular (TMJ), sacral-iliac joint (SIJ), lumbo-pelvic, hip/groin, hands, and general orthopaedic areas. He also has a long history of staying active with participation in rugby, volleyball, hockey, tennis, snowboarding, wakeboarding, and cycling. He understands the physical demands and injuries that may occur with an active lifestyle, and have the knowledge to help get people back to doing what they love quickly.

Meet Angus

Angus is a physiotherapist who graduated from UBC’s Master of Physical Therapy Program. Angus has a passion for exercise and movement and empowers his clients by giving them the tools they need to regain their mobility and reach their goals. Before his career in physical therapy, he worked as a personal trainer to help empower others in their fitness journey. During his free time, Angus likes to partake in a variety of sports such as badminton, spike ball, bouldering, Krav Maga, calisthenics, and weightlifting. Angus’ experience in sports has led to many injuries and helped develop an understanding of the importance of physical therapy.

Back in Motion Health Vancouver location is situated at unit 208, 333 East Broadway, Vancouver, BC, V5T1W5, nearby the Kingsway and East Broadway intersection, and across the street from the Kingsgate Mall.

If you are driving, we have dedicated Back in Motion stalls in the building parking, accessed through the back-lane. Please dial 208 at the keypad by the gate, and reception staff will open the parking gate for you. If you are taking transit, buses numbers: 3, 8, 9, 19, 19 and 99 have stops within 2 blocks of our location. Buses 9 and 99 connect with both Broadway-City Hall SkyTrain Station (8 minutes away) and Commercial-Broadway SkyTrain Station (11 minutes away).

If you are biking, there are bike racks in front of the building.

ICBC Covered Physiotherapy Treatment in Vancouver


Back in Motion Health assists clients who have sustained injuries in motor vehicle accidents with ICBC-covered physiotherapy. Patients with an ICBC claim are typically pre-approved for 25 physiotherapy sessions. If funding is authorized, we will charge your pre-approved expenses straight to ICBC. A doctor’s referral might be needed if it has been more than three months since your accident, and in such a case, Back in Motion Health can speak with your ICBC adjuster on your behalf to seek funding for physiotherapy. WorkSafeBC Claims

Workplace injuries are usually due to trauma or overuse. If you have been injured as a result of a workplace activity, our team of experts at Back in Motion can perform a comprehensive assessment and develop a treatment plan to reduce your symptoms and rehabilitate your injury.

If your claim is approved by WSBC, your initial assessment is 100% covered with a WorkSafeBC Claim number. Once your claim has been accepted by WorkSafeBC, the full treatment cost of your appointments will be funded (within the approved time parameters). When you are ready, your physiotherapist will work with you, your employer, physician, and WorkSafeBC Case Manager to develop a safe and appropriate return to work plan. If your claim has been denied or is disallowed, the expenses will need to be covered by the Client.
