Types of Massage Therapy We Offer in Surrey
At Back in Motion Health, our Surrey Newton massage therapists are trained in a variety of techniques to support your unique needs. Each treatment is customized based on your symptoms, pain tolerance, and health goals.
Deep Tissue Massage
Ideal for chronic tension, deep tissue massage targets the deeper layers of muscle and fascia. This technique is commonly used to treat long‑standing tightness, postural imbalances, and injuries where deeper pressure is needed for therapeutic effect.
Sports Massage
Designed for athletes and active individuals, sports massage focuses on improving mobility, preventing injuries, and supporting recovery after training or competition. It helps reduce muscle soreness and improve functional performance.
Relaxation Massage
Relaxation massage uses lighter pressure and gentle, flowing techniques to help reduce stress, lower muscle tension, and promote overall well‑being. It’s ideal for patients looking to decompress physically and mentally.
Prenatal Massage
Prenatal massage supports people during pregnancy by relieving lower‑back pain, swelling, hip discomfort, and muscular tension. Our RMTs use safe and comfortable positioning to protect both parent and baby.
Postnatal Massage
After childbirth, postnatal massage helps restore mobility, alleviate upper‑body tension from breastfeeding or infant care, and support the body’s natural recovery process.

If your claim is approved by WSBC, your initial assessment is 100% covered with a WorkSafeBC Claim number.
